We take fresh natural milk from the dairy, then extract the water using an innovative, gentle process to produce a very fine milk powder—the same delicious milk in dried form. Sealed in its Verismo™ pod, the milk remains fresh-packed until it is placed in the Verismo™ machine. Combined with water under high pressure, the powder becomes liquid once again-perfect for your Starbucks® Caffè Latte—at home.

good taste I have seen complaints regarding the milk pods; the complaints are unfounded as far as I am concerned. The taste is more than fine and is a great in a latte and with other brewed blends. April 21, 2013
Good product, and good addition to coffee Verismo Milk Pods are easy to use, convenient and delicious. They are easy to store, take up little space, and taste fresh. I like to mix it with all of the Verismo coffee pods as a nice top off to my coffee. It has a nice froth that adds a nice finish to my morning cup of coffee. April 12, 2013
The only weak link to Verismo I love the Verismo machine, first of all. Great in the mornings for a quick cup of coffee, that tastes great. My friends have a machine too, and we trade concoction recipes all the time. I even like the Veranda blend, which typically, I don't like the milder roasts, but that is how good this machine and the coffee pods are! With that out of the way, milk pods are awful. The texture and frothiness of the milk is fine, and the Verismo does with the milk pod what I would expect it do, but it is the taste that is the problem. I feel it is too over powering, and tastes "stale" to me. I have resorted to using regular milk instead. If Starbucks can improve the taste, I think this would be a rock star product like everything else with this system. April 11, 2013
