  • About Tazo

Rooibos, known around the world as "Red Tea," comes from an evergreen shrub grown near the Western Cape of South Africa.

Though often referred to as "herbal teas," these blends contain none of the leaf Camellia sinesis and are, therefore, not true teas at all. Their botanical ingredients, however, can be marvelous and varied. Flowers, roots, peels, seeds, barks, berries and spices are sourced from around the world and are kept in their whole form, then cut just prior to blending, ensuring the freshest possible flavor.

Tea is one of life's simple pleasures.

And at Tazo, we believe that discovering authentic new tastes in tea makes the experience more enjoyable. Tazo searches the globe to obtain the finest botanicals and teas, then artfully blends these exotic ingredients to create unexpectedly rich, truly memorable flavor experiences.

Tazo is a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP), an alliance of international tea companies that are working together to improve the environmental sustainability of tea production and to help improve the lives and communities of tea workers. Tazo® Vanilla Rooibos Full Leaf Tea

This full-leaf herbal infusion combines creamy African rooibos with licorice root, cinnamon and real fruit pieces. What starts with an unassuming bush on the South African plain ends in rich, smooth flavor, with the malty rooibos enhanced by sweet notes of peach and vanilla.

I order this tea at Starbucks, and enjoyed so much, I ordered it from thier website. Hoping to recreate the great taste of the store tea. However, unknown to me, Starbucks adds other stuff to it when you order it from the counter. So, I got vanilla syrup, even then something just does not taste the same. It is good, it is just the one small thing I am missing to make it great.

This delightful tea is a treat to the senses and the tummy. I discovered this tea by smelling it from an adjacent table at my local Starbucks. I just had to try it! And, I haven't gone back! It's like a decadent warm winter dessert, with the vanilla and fruits. I like mine topped with just a "splash of steamed breve."
Guilt-free, healthy and comforting. Need I say more?
Yes, I recommend this product.
