For Best Brewing
- Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil at 175F (80c) and allow to cool slightly.
- Pour 8 fl oz (236 ml) of water over the filterbag in your cup.
- Let it steep for 3 minutes. Wait patiently for perfection.
The liquor of a green tea is typically a green or yellow color, and flavors range from toasty, grassy (pan-fired teas) to fresh and streamed greens (steamed teas) with mild astringency.
Tazo® China Green Tips is made from a tea known as Mao Feng, which in Chinese translates loosely as "hair tip" – an apt description of the twisted and rolled dry leaf.
