For Best Brewing
- Use one heaping teaspoon of loose leaves per 8 fl oz (236 ml) of 175F (80c) water.
- Let it steep for 3 minutes and wait for perfection.
White tea is the least processed of tea types and yields the lightest cup color and most delicate aroma and flavor. Purchased from a wide area of Southeast China, it requires very selective picking and handling of the young, dense tea buds.
White tea is created when the bud and first leaves of the tea bush are carefully plucked and gently air dried. This gentle process allows the brewed tea to remain soft and silky in your mouth versus developing the vegetative characteristics found in green teas.
