For Best Brewing
- Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil at 212F (100c).
- Pour 8 fl oz (236 ml) of water over the filterbag in your cup.
- Let it steep for 5 minutes. Wait patiently for perfection.
Black tea is the fully oxidized leaf of Camellia sinensis and requires the most processing. The brewed liquor ranges between dark brown and deep red. Black teas offer the strongest flavors and, in some cases, the greatest astringency.
While only three origin countries contribute to this blend, Tazo® Awake™ English Breakfast contains teas from as many as 15 different tea gardens within these countries.
