House Blend Portion Packs

Each convenient portion pack is pre-measured to brew one pot of coffee, approximately 50-64 fl oz depending on the desired strength. One portion pack is filled with 2.5 oz of ground coffee. There are 18 portion packs per box.

Each coffee requires slightly different amounts of time and temperature during the roasting process to create a cup at its peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor. We classify our coffees in three roast profiles so you can easily find your desired flavor and intensity.

  • Blonde: Blonde-roasted coffees have a shorter roast time, lighter body and mellow flavors.
  • Medium: Medium-roasted coffees are balanced with smooth and rich flavors.
  • Dark: Dark-roasted coffees feature a fuller body and robust, bold flavors.

Sumatra Portion Packs

Like the Sumatran tiger, this coffee makes its presence known. It’s big and bold with distinctive earthy aroma and lingering low notes. The heavy, full body and concentrated herbal spice notes are hallmarks of great coffee from Sumatra and the pride of our most seasoned roasters.

Great Convenience I got this on sale, seeing the portion packs for the first time. I love the convenience. I normally prefer to grind my own coffee at home but never seem to get the right amount so this works perfectly for me-- especially on days I want to make a quick pot. As my experience with all forms of pre-packaged Starbucks coffee-- none can match the fresh brew you get in the store but it's the next best thing. May 19, 2013
Love the Sumatra coffee. Packages are great for travel when there is a coffee pot in the hotel room. Now we can have excellent coffee consistently. Downside was cost of shipping. Makes each pot of coffee fairly pricy. Probably could package it ourselves in ziplock bags but . . . probably wouldn't. April 19, 2013
Why Grind? I purchased these so we could have fresh Starbucks coffee brewing every day without having to get beans from our vacuum tight container and grinding a batch each day. Simple, easy, convenient. Thought I saw them already loaded in filters in the product description, so I may have selected just portioned bags instead, but the product is typical Starbucks quality.
