Recipe for great coffee

  1. Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine.
  2. Grind beans just before brewing:
    • Coarse for coffee press
    • Medium for automatic drip
  3. Measure 2 tbsp (10 g) ground coffee for every 6 fl oz (180 ml) water.

To help preserve that fresh flavor, keep this bag sealed tight in a cabinet (not in the refrigerator) and brew within a week of opening.

Each coffee requires slightly different amounts of time and temperature during the roasting process to create a cup at its peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor. We classify our coffees in three roast profiles so you can easily find your desired flavor and intensity.

  • Blonde: Blonde-roasted coffees have a shorter roast time, lighter body and mellow flavors.
  • Medium: Medium-roasted coffees are balanced with smooth and rich flavors.
  • Dark: Dark-roasted coffees feature a fuller body and robust, bold flavors.

Starbucks Willow Blend®

Can a blonde roast coffee be complex? We gently roasted this blend from Latin America and East Africa to create a full flavor that’s surprisingly layered. The lighter roast reveals the juicy lemony notes we love to discover in African coffee, followed by a crisp finish courtesy of the Latin American beans. Graceful with a deep, enveloping flavor, it’s everything you’d want from a light roast—and much more than you’d expect.

Delisioso We love this coffee, it's so light, it feels like you can have it right before bed. But in reality you shouldn't if you want to sleep well. It is higher in caffeine then a dark roast I couldn't believe my brother who works in Starbucks so I asked someone else at a different Starbucks and they said the same thing about it's strength. The less it's roasted the higher in caffeine it is. Huh. I hope my brother doesn't find out! March 1, 2014
love it Great light refreshing taste, love it,will buy again February 23, 2014
In The Process Of Consuming Now! I was a bit surprised with this blend! Normally we go for a robust blend, but as they stated it was Bright, Full Flavored and Crisp. An accurate description. Succeeded as a Pour-Over, True Espresso and Americano. Did not have a chance yet for the Moka Pot or French Press, but do believe it would be just as good. We liked this one... February 12, 2014
Great Coffee I wish Starbucks would keep one Blonde on brew at all times December 26, 2013
hurray for Willow Blend Your commercial, the one about the barista who's mother was not a fan of Starbucks....well, that was me. I like rich coffee flavor, but not of the dark, French Roast variety. So, along comes Willow Blend. I am hooked. For anyone (or their mother) who adds hot water or too much cream, invite them in for a cup of Willow. They will thank you for it! December 24, 2013
