Starbucks is using an innovative process to pull the naturally occurring caffeine and other good stuff from 100% green Arabica coffee beans before they are roasted. Great taste, but over-priced! These are very delicious and have just enough caffeine for a light pick-me-up, but they are WAY OVER-PRICED in-store! The drink is make from a CONCENTRATED SYRUP that requires ZERO barista craftsmanship (with the exception of dropping in a ladle of (non-organic) berries. I cannot even get a straight answer from a barista as to the purity of the water used in mixing this drink. No one at my local store seems to know if they filter the water or if it is coming straight from the tap! (it tastes slightly fluoridated & chlorinated like plain tap water...) If you buy the VIA packets to use at home, you can get the same great flavor (at 1/3 the cost) and KNOW EXACTLY WHERE THE WATER COMES FROM. I use either local SPRING WATER or my own FILTERED tap water and you can notice a distinct, and tasty, difference in flavor. This WOULD BE a 5-star beverage if the water was better and the price was lower. Why should we pay over $4 for a glass of pre-mixed, tap water Kool-Aid? (tasty,perhaps, but it's just from a concentrate) June 12, 2013

Favorite Summer Drink This beverage is so amazingly delicious! I get it almost every day in the summer and quite frequently even in the winter. It is so refreshing and fruity, you would never guess there was coffee or caffeine in it. It really hits the spot every time. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new, but tasty at Starbucks. May 26, 2013
