Starbucks® Reusable Cup Sleeve - Leather Siren
Nice, but not the greatest.
I get it's really cheap. I bought one in an actual store before but I lost it and it was really nice! So I came on here and saw one. I liked the look of this one a lot more than the other one . The leather look pulled me in. It doesn't completely keep your hand cool. I know sometimes I would put it over my drinks and my hands would still get hot. Just depends on how much you can handle! It still works though and it's only 4 dollars!

Opposed to what the other reviewer thought...
I thought it was great! The product is listed as recycled, so I'm not sure why it was expected to be genuine leather. I love recycled products, personally. So if you're into the whole recycling thing, I'd definitely recommend this cup sleeve. If you like the more expensive sort of thing, then this is not your cup sleeve.

Do not buy if you are looking for genuine leather!
What a disappointment! Remember when the word leather meant real leather?
I have been waiting for a couple years for Starbucks to come out with another leather cup sleeve. I purchased the original about 10 years ago - which was genuine full grain leather made by Mulholland - and carried it every day, even to many Starbucks locations around the globe. When it finally became too tired and worn looking, I contacted Starbucks and Mulholland leather to see if I could find a replacement. A couple weeks ago I found this sleeve available and immediately ordered three.
My anticipation crashed to the ground when I opened the box. These sleeves are made of ground up chards of what I suppose was once leather, held together with a stiff plastic substance. It's kind of like leather cardboard. Although it looks good in the picture, it feels cheap in your hand. Obviously I will be returning these and continue looking for a genuine leather sleeve. I noticed some available on Etsy.
Common Starbucks. What has happened to the quality products you once offered?
