Red Electroplate Mug, 14 fl oz
Hand Washing Is Too Rough
My husband got this mug for me for Christmas. It's tradition I get a new coffee mug every year. Christmas morning I opened it and had my coffee in it. He took it afterward and washed it by hand, per the instructions. As he washed it, the paint came off. Now we're just going to have to throw it away I guess. Pretty expensive for a one-time use mug!

Maybe a duh, but within a whopping three seconds, I ruined the dang cup.

Read the fine print
This mug looked so beautiful so I bought it for a Christmas gift for my husband. He didn't have it more than 30 minutes before he put it in the microwave. Yeah, if you like the crackled glass look, go for it! It is not dishwasher or microwave safe. I would have never bought it if I had known that, which I realize is my own fault for not reading all the details, but that is a really big deal to me.

These mugs are the perfect size and add an uncluttered festivity to my Christmas kitchen décor. My only disappointment is that they are not microwave or dishwasher safe...but, if I would have really thought about the fact that they have a metallic finish before I bought them, I would have realized that! Still love them. Got gold and red.

Holiday Mug that makes coffee special
It's holiday in look and comfortable in feel! Holds a nice sized cup of coffee. Read the notice on the bottom/don't microwave (the shine will really sparkle and your microwave will ight up) and always handwash if you want to maintain the beauty. But, it's beautiful and a lovely cup, so worth the extra care!
