From the birthplace of coffee, Sidamo is highly prized by coffee buyers from around the world. It features a fleeting, floral aroma with a bright yet soft finish and, like the best Sidamo coffees, a wonderful hint of lemon.

The key flavor to set off this coffee's charm is lemon - lemon poppyseed muffins, lemon blueberry biscotti and lemon bars.
Origin Notes:
Sidamo is Ethiopia's southernmost province bordering on Kenya.
This is coffee rates at the top of my list for Bold & Smooth coffee. The taste is nutty & elegant. I've tried almost every coffee and I'm still torn between this one and the Komodo Dragon since both are uniquely pleasant to the palette.
It just is! I enjoy the Ethiopia Sidamo bold just as much as the Gold Coast. I am beginning to taste the subtle differences in grind and roast. Wouldn't go back to any other brand.
Sidamo is #2 of my two favorite Starbucks coffees. It is one of the richest, best balance of flavors in a coffee yet. The only Starbucks coffee that I would rate higher is the aged Sumatra that Starbucks released for a short period of time last year. The incredibly good smell of that Sumatra alone was worth the extra price.
