Rwanda Blend Coffee by Starbucks

As a result of the tremendous efforts by Rwandan farmers to improve every stage of coffee production, they’re cultivating some truly amazing coffees. And this coffee, hand-selected by our experts for its premium quality, is some of their finest. We love it for its elegant flavor and for the promising future it brings to Rwanda’s premium-coffee growers. But it’s only at Starbucks for a limited time.

The coffee in this bag—like all our coffees—is made from the highest-quality arabica beans, purchased with respect for farmers and batch roasted by us to be flavorful and delicious in the cup. By working together and paying the prices their premium coffee deserves, we’re also helping improve the lives of the farmers and their communities. It’s simply what we believe to be right, and what we’ve always done.

It's a choice between the Ethiopian and Sumatra. If you want a flavor hit this is ok.

We've actually been to Rwanda and enjoyed their country and their coffee. After returning stateside we searched for that special Rwandan bean from small coffee importers all over the US, only to find a few that actually purchased from Rwanda. However, we can state with absolute confidence that the Starbucks brand of Rwandan coffee is as true to what you get in that country as being there yourself! The fact that it's a Fair Trade coffee makes it just that much more endearing to us. We purchased 8 pounds recently and when that's out, we're praying that Starbucks will have more left over for us. This is our favorite and we don't ever want to see it go! Kelly & Eric
