I had bought this coffee maker before, and loved it. The one I had eventually stopped working, so I decided to get another one. I tried going to actual Starbucks Stores, but the managers said that this item had been discontinued. I gave it one last try by checking online, and Happiness! It did still exist! So I bought another one.
My review is simple. This coffee maker is easy to use. It makes the coffee fast, and keeps it hot while I'm out walking the dog. I return to hot coffee.
Please keep this coffee maker in your product line as it is a good one to have.

I needed a smaller coffee maker with a thermal carafe - and this one was about the only choice that met my needs. It does brew and keep the coffee very hot, but it's very overpriced for the quality. The switch is flimsy, and it's not a proper toggle on/off. Once activated, you can't turn it off. The switch doesn't feel solid, and I fear that it's fragile.
For $50, you'd think the water reservoir would have some marks indicating the level for 2, 3, and 4 cups of coffee. The filter basket is fussy to get properly seated. Overall, I'm disappointed in the product - it wouldn't take much to make it a solid product. The price is still just too high.
It took the Starbucks store a silly amount of time to fill the order and ship it.
Having used a Starbucks Barista Aroma for the past 7 years, I knew that my next coffee maker would be another Starbucks Barista model. I enjoy my new Barista Quattro. The coffee not only is great tasting, but brews in a minimal amount of time. The compact size is convenient. The adjustable cord is a great safety feature. The stainless steel thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm and is also attractive.
It's a great coffe maker. It's not top of the line, but it's sure close. It took me a while to get the coffee to water ratio right, but it makes good coffee, it's quick, and it doesn't make more than I need. If that sounds good to you, buy it.
