Brazil Ipanema Bourbon by Starbucks Coffee
Brazil Ipanema Bourbon is pleasingly mild, with subtle cocoa notes and a nutty complexity not typically found in the coffees of Brazil. Ipanema Farm is one of the largest farms in the world at 5,000 hectares spread over three separate farms, and it was one of the first farms to be C.A.F.E. (Coffee and Farmer Equity) Practices–verified.
More about this coffee: “Bourbon” (pronounced bur-BONE) refers to the specific variety of coffee plant from which these beans come. Arabica Bourbon is one of the world's oldest and rarest species of coffee. The Bourbon tree is carefully nurtured to maturity, its prized cherries hand selected to ensure ripeness and peak flavor.

The Brazil Ipanema Bourbon is my am favorite (mild). Not acidic, I like it black.
My husband and I discovered this coffee just recently and absolutely love it. The Brazil Ipanema is seasonal and after buying out the Starbucks stores in our area, I ordered more on the Starbucks website. My only regret is that it is seasonal. It is definitely our favorite.
This is a delightful coffee, especially in the morning. I was introduced to it while visiting with family in Virginia and ordered for myself from you when I returned home. I first tried in local Starbucks shops but neither that I tried carried the coffee. My only regret is that I understand it is not available all year round.
I really enjoy the smooth flavor of the Brazil Ipanema. I do not like strong coffee and this coffee was not real strong. The service I received was great. Thank you starbucks.
