Liquid Organic Chai Tea Concentrate by Tazo Tea 64-oz.
An organic version of this spicy Indian classic. A perfect blend of sustainably grown North Indian teas and exotic spices, with just a touch of sweetness. Especially enjoyable when consumed with pure thoughts.
Organic Tazo® Chai first enchanted the Himalayan hill dwellers more than 2,000 years ago, when all things were organic. Sustainably grown, full-flavored North Indian teas are blended with organic cardamom, cloves, ginger and cinnamon to create a formula that is certainly unlike any tea you've tasted, and just may be the purest form of chai on the planet.
Ingredients: An infusion of (water, black tea*, cardamom*, cinnamon*, black pepper*, ginger root*, cloves*, natural flavors, star anise*) cane sugar*, honey*, ginger juice*, natural flavors, and citric acid.
Tazo® was created for one purpose: to reinvent tea and the tea experience. By using high quality ingredients and a tremendous amount of experience and creativity, Tazo® has produced unique products that create an emotional connection with the consumer at many levels. Tazo® continues to expose consumers to the ancient traditions of tea, but presents this in a way that is bold, interesting and intriguing.
Unlike other tea companies, Tazo® purchases teas in their original container as packed at the garden to ensure the tea inside the chest or bag stays garden fresh and is not exposed to the heat and moisture in a blending facility at one of the tea shipping points.
The blending process is a very subtle art form that relies on subjective measurement of taste, color and aroma. Tazo® constantly taste and determine which teas will go in which blend in what percentage, so flavor profiles remain consistent and of the highest quality possible.
The name Tazo® has roots in many civilizations. Tazo actually means "river of life" in the Romany Gypsy language and was used as a toast to life by ancient Greeks. Tazo also means "fresh" in several Hindi dialects. In ancient Babylonia, Tazo was a rejuvenating elixir thought to have magical properties.
Tazo® is kosher certified by KSA.
*organically grown

I am a HUGE Starbucks fan. Without a doubt, I'm there once a day and sometimes even twice. My drink of choice is a venti whole milk no water chai and my 17-month olds drink of choice is a short kids temp vanilla creme. Seeing as I have two kids under three, my Starbucks addiction is, sometimes, a tad bit inconvenient. So, my husband bought me a Krups espresso maker for Christmas in the hopes that I would start making drinks at home. I had heard that your chai in the store was different than the chai that you sell but I had to try it anyway. Bottom line, its awful. It has a totally different taste to it and it seems to be very watered down. Why? I'm assuming its because you would rather have people walking through the front door than making drinks at home but, being a mom of two toddlers, it can be difficult to rally the troops all for the sake of mommys drink. So, I'm begging you, can you please start selling the same thing you're serving. I would be an even bigger fan! Thanks for your time.
I have ordered and used the liquid Chai Tea Concentrate in the past but always felt that there was something missing. I'm not sure why but the Organic Chai Tea Concentrate has a vastly improved taste compared to the regular, yummy!
I have tried making Latte's with this and they STILL don't taste the same as the ones I purchase from the store. Why is that? I'm sure they use this same product, but I haven't found the exact magic recipe yet :-(
