Chai Tea Latte Concentrate by Tazo Tea

Item Size: Two 32-oz. Cartons

A full-bodied blend of exotic teas and spices for those who seek inner peace at a slightly gentler pace. Enjoy it morning, noon or night, for a rich and soothing escape from traditional teas.

Ingredients: An infusion of (water, black tea, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, natural flavors ad star anise). Cane Sugar, Honey, Ginger Juice, Natural Flavors, Vanilla and citric acid.

Tazo® was created for one purpose: to reinvent tea and the tea experience. By using high quality ingredients and a tremendous amount of experience and creativity, Tazo® has produced unique products that create an emotional connection with the consumer at many levels. Tazo® continues to expose consumers to the ancient traditions of tea, but presents this in a way that is bold, interesting and intriguing.

Unlike other tea companies, Tazo® purchases teas in their original container as packed at the garden to ensure the tea inside the chest or bag stays garden fresh and is not exposed to the heat and moisture in a blending facility at one of the tea shipping points.

The blending process is a very subtle art form that relies on subjective measurement of taste, color and aroma. Tazo® constantly taste and determine which teas will go in which blend in what percentage, so flavor profiles remain consistent and of the highest quality possible.

The name Tazo® has roots in many civilizations. Tazo actually means "river of life" in the Romany Gypsy language and was used as a toast to life by ancient Greeks. Tazo also means "fresh" in several Hindi dialects. In ancient Babylonia, Tazo was a rejuvenating elixir thought to have magical properties.

Tazo® is kosher certified by KSA.
Food Pairings:
Delicious as a dessert on its own, but pairs well with breakfast pastries and lighter meals. Simply combine the concentrate with equal parts milk or soy milk, heat or serve over ice, and enjoy.
Time of Day:
Enjoy any time of day, great alternative to espresso and coffee-based drinks.

I am a HUGE Starbucks fan...daily Chai Tea drinker. The concentrate is not even close to what you get in the store. I was terribly disappointed. I read the reviews and was encouraged to think that the drink would be similar. Starbucks needs to consider selling the Chai SYRUP. The concentrate is not even a close second.

I can make a cup of Chai Latte anytime I want and with whatever concentration of milk and cream I prefer. Thank you Starbucks for making this product available to home consumers. I also enjoyed the vanilla chai you made some years ago, and the decaf chai you offer occasionally.

This is no where as good as it is in the store. I was disappointed that it is so difficult to get the right blend. Too much milk is weak tasting and too little is much too spicy. Hard to find the middle ground even though directions say half and half.

I love the tea itself, but the shipping process is horrible! I received 4 containers of the tea, and all FOUR of them had the pouring spout broken off, and trying to pour the stuff without the spout is nearly impossible. I must have wasted at least a whole container trying to pour myself a drink. I'm very disappointed by this, and I'm not sure I'll be ordering more just because of all of the waste this has caused.
