I really like my Via Venezia machine. I use it every day. I did find that I could not load the coffee holder in the machine if I used Starbuck Expresso ground from the store and had it perfectlly level without even pressing down on the grounds. I w ould have to take some of the grounds out to load. Grinding whole beans using a finer grind works great, no problem. |

We have enjoyed our new machine--it is similar to the Barista from Starbucks we used for years but which finally gave up the ghost. This has some features we really like, such as the plastic piece on the steamer which slides off and can be cleaned easily. We look forward to our wonderful lattes every morning! |

Once I figured out how to use this, and really make a good cup of Cappucino,
I was thrilled when it arrived but a little daunted by the instructions. A freind walked me through it and I was an expert in 45 minutes. What a great little device for home - quick, easy to use, and it steams soy milk and rice milk really well too.

I bought this as my first espresso machine. It works great. It takes a little while to actually get everything setup and primed but that is normal for this price point. The only thing I wish it came with was a video showing how to set it up and get it going. I read the instruction manual and there were a few steps that were a little unclear. I tried my first cup of coffee and it was a big mess because I didn't have the portafilter on tight enough. I ended up going to UTube and found a video showing how to use it and it was very helpful. Overall, if you are going to have a cup or two a day and you don't want to spend a lot of money this is a good buy. If I continue to use it, I will upgrade to automatic, professional machine when we build our next house. |
