Signature Coffee Press by Starbucks Coffee
Starbucks traditional coffee press is tailor-made for making great coffee. Convenient side markings indicate amount of ground coffee and water for 8, 6 and 4 cups of coffee. Makes up to 32 fluid ounces of coffee.
Brewing in a Coffee Press:
Add into the coffee press the correct amount of coarsely ground coffee.
An 8-cup (32-fl. oz.) press holds 10-2/3 tbsp. of coarse ground coffee.
Add 32-fl. oz. of water right off the boil into the coffee press and stir to make sure all the grounds are wet.
Place the plunger assembly loosely on top to hold in the heat.
Using a timer, steep for four minutes.
Pointing the pouring spout away from you and holding the pot by the handle, slowly press the plunger down with your other hand to push the grounds to the bottom of the pot.
Serve immediately, as the coffee maintains its superior taste for only 20 minutes. Set a timer for 20 minutes if all of the coffee will not be consumed immediately.

COFFEE PRESS IS EXCELLENT, MAKES A GREAT CUP OF COFFEE. THIS ITEM WAS RECOMENDED BY AN X STARBUCKS EMPLOYEE. HE SAID I MIGHT LIKE PRESSED COFFEE AND HE WAS RIGHI.
This press was a replacement for a previous press - I had broken the beaker and simply wanted to replace the beaker. Instead I received a new product.
The metal rusts where attached to cross metal parts on the sides and on the base. The rust is on both the metal and on the glass beaker. The previous press did not rust.
Additionally, the beaker often has a filmy appearance after use - the previous one did not.
I would have preferred buying a replacement beaker for my previous press.
Just a great brew.
Never had one before and WOW what a great way to make coffee,
more flavor, more of the oils, no bleachy paper taste, makes a cup of coffee that you want to sit and savor
AND with a tea kettle and a gas stove you don't even need electricity
