This product seems to be over roasted to the point that there is a burnt almost charcoal taste.
Sumatra coffee (by Starbucks) is a very deep, rich coffee that emanates a potent aroma when first opened. I bought the whole bean coffee that needs to be ground before using and I use a French press for maximum flavor. I like the coffee, but when you add the shipping to the already high price, it is too much money as there are other very good coffees out there for a lower price (especially the shipping); I buy through another vendor for another coffee and the shipping is FREE! (The price is it's also an auto send deal, but you can choose anywhere from one to six months.) If price is not a consideration, this is an excellent coffee.
