I've used my tumbler for a couple of weeks now. Even though it is not metal lined, it still keeps my coffee hot for hours and I have received many compliments on it. It is very pretty. I LOVE the top, which is a tight-fitting flip up cap. I also love that it is a tight screw on lid. I've never had it leak in the car. Love it!
I put coffee in the first time and it leaked down the front of my white
t-shirt. I have had at least 4 starbucks tumblers and none of them do this. I have learned to put the coffee in, close the lid and then open and close it until it pressurizes or something and it stops leaking. Very tedious. I would say it is defective and return it except for the fact that it eventually seals properly.
