I bought this for my daughter's birthday and she used it right away and loved it.
I am a big fan of the french press. To me, there is no better way to have coffee. The style of the product is also very nice. It makes me think of what Paris in the 1920's must have been like. I imagine myself there whenever I use the French Press. I sit in my living room, drink my fresh pressed coffee with a croissant, no TV or electronics going and read or watch the birds out the window. For a few minutes I am swept away to another time and place.
Nice product! To say the least : )
Not much to write expect that I love the French press. The glasses still amaze me...every time I drink coffee from them I sit and stare. I'd recommend to anyone seeking to serve up to 4 people at a time (though there are only 2 really cool glasses :)
The French press is great, works wonderfully. The cups are decent, they are pretty to look at and it's cool to see the drink in the cup "floating". However like many people have said, they are FRAGILE. Also, after pouring hot tea in one of the cups, it began to sweat on the inside of the cup, between the two layers of glass, leaving it impossible to dry by hand, and when it did finally dry (it has a small hole at the bottom to let air in and out) it left water marks that are impossible to clean, and now ruin the effect I originally wanted the cups for. All in all, if you were gonna go the store, you would end up spending $40 alone on just the French press, so getting the cups for "free" is a pretty good deal. Everything has its flaws, and looking at the whole set, it's a good deal and worth the money.
