StarbucksĀ® Tribute Blend
Here's to you.
What began as a once-in-a-lifetime coffee--a tribute to our customers, partners and roasters--has become one of our most loved and requested blends. It's the culmination of the finest arabica beans, innovative farming practices and never-ending passion. Now it's an annual spring tradition that's worth the wait. This inspired blend features four of our favorite coffees: sun-dried beans from Ethiopia with a flourish of dark cherry; Aged Sumatra, loved for its syrupy body and cedary spice notes; juicy, herbal coffees from Papua New Guinea; and our Colombia coffee, bright, balanced and nutty. Pair this intense, deeply layered coffee with friends, neighbors and warm spring days.
How to Brew
Recipe for great coffee
- Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine.
- Grind beans just before brewing:
- Coarse for coffee press
- Medium for automatic drip
- Measure 2 tbsp (10 g) ground coffee for every 6 fl oz (180 ml) water.
To help preserve that fresh flavor, keep this bag sealed tight in a cabinet (not in the refrigerator) and brew within a week of opening.
The Starbucks Roast
Each coffee requires slightly different amounts of time and temperature during the roasting process to create a cup at its peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor. We classify our coffees in three roast profiles so you can easily find your desired flavor and intensity.
- Blonde: Blonde-roasted coffees have a shorter roast time, lighter body and mellow flavors.
- Medium: Medium-roasted coffees are balanced with smooth and rich flavors.
- Dark: Dark-roasted coffees feature a fuller body and robust, bold flavors.
Did You Know?
Starbucks Tribute BlendĀ® is a post-roast blend, meaning the coffees were blended after being roasted. Our roasters chose to make this a post-roast blend so they could highlight the berry notes of the sun-dried Ethiopian coffee.
