or mail in your entry to StarbucksStore.com, Attn: Customer Service,
2850 Ocean Park Blvd., Suite 310, Santa Monica, CA 90405. Entries should include name, address,
email address and telephone number.
Official Rules
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Purchasing will not improve your chances of winning.
To qualify, entries submitted online must be received by 12:00 AM (midnight) PST July 1, 2008. Entries received by mail must be postmarked no later than July 1, 2008
and received no later than July 8, 2008.
Limit one entry per person regardless of means of entry. Multiple entries will
be invalid.
Who is Eligible
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and legal residents of the
Continental U.S.
- Employees of the Sponsor Cooking.com and respective affiliates,
subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family
members of each are not eligible.
- Void where prohibited by law.
- By entering, winners certify that they meet all eligibility requirements.
Prizes
One prize winner will receive one (1) Starbucks® Barista™ Espresso Machine, with
a retail value of $399.
Prize is non-transferrable and non-resellable.
No prize substitution or cash equivalent is permitted, except by Sponsor in its
sole discretion, due to prize unavailability for any reason, and only then for a
prize of equal or greater value.
All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility
of the applicable winner.
General Conditions
One prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. By
entering, the winner certifies that they meet all eligibility requirements.
Drawing date is on or about July 15, 2008.
The winner will be notified (via e-mail or phone) within 7 days after the
drawing date. The winner must respond to e-mail or phone notification within
48 hours, or he/she will forfeit the prize. If a prize is not claimed within
the time limit, an alternate prizewinner will be drawn at random from all
eligible entries.
Prize winner must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity
Release within seven days following attempted notification. Prize winner will be
required to return documents within seven days. Non-compliance within this time
period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Entrants further grant to Cooking.com through StarbucksStore.com the right to
use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other
media, in conjunction with the sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes
permission for Sponsor and their advertising and promotional agencies to use
winner’s name and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without
additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
By entering, participants release and hold harmless Cooking.com through
StarbucksStore.com, their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors,
officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss
or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the sweepstakes or any
prize won. Entrants who subscribe to the StarbucksStore.com newsletter and/or
catalog have the option to unsubscribe from each list at any time. Any
information shared with StarbucksStore.com will be held subject to
StarbucksStore.com's privacy policy. Click here to view StarbucksStore.com's

unsubscribing. StarbucksStore.com is separate from Starbucks.com.
The Sponsor for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or mutilated entries or for
any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur assumes
no responsibility. StarbucksStore.com is not responsible for technical, hardware
or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or
failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by
StarbucksStore.com users or by any of the equipment or programming associated
with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may
occur in the processing of submissions which may limit a player's ability to
participate in the sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserve the right in their sole
direction to cancel or suspend this contest should virus, bugs, or other causes
beyond its control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the
contest.
Conduct
By entering this sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The
Official Rules will be posted at the Sweepstakes Site throughout the
sweepstakes. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges,
which are final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right at
their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be: tampering
with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or website; to be
acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike
or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any
other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY
WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF
