Great but only last ~ one year It was a great grinder for the price but the burrs only lasted ~year. It was used several times a day. The burrs wore down over the course of year, making the coffee taste terrible. If you are a heavy espresso drinker I would recommend spending the money to get a grinder with stainless steel burrs. Noisy and messy This is the first geared coffee grinder I've owned (after many blade grinders). It is much noisier than I expected. Even with a medium-coarse grinding setting, it produces a lot of coffee dust, some of which inevitably ends up on the counter surface when you open the ground coffee container to empty it into the coffee maker. So far I've found I need to clean the counter area after each use. March 20, 2013
