Recipe for great coffee

  1. Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine.
  2. Grind beans just before brewing:
    • Coarse for coffee press
    • Medium for automatic drip
  3. Measure 2 tbsp (10 g) ground coffee for every 6 fl oz (180 ml) water.

To help preserve that fresh flavor, keep this bag sealed tight in a cabinet (not in the refrigerator) and brew within a week of opening.

Each coffee requires slightly different amounts of time and temperature during the roasting process to create a cup at its peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor. We classify our coffees in three roast profiles so you can easily find your desired flavor and intensity.

  • Blonde: Blonde-roasted coffees have a shorter roast time, lighter body and mellow flavors.
  • Medium: Medium-roasted coffees are balanced with smooth and rich flavors.
  • Dark: Dark-roasted coffees feature a fuller body and robust, bold flavors.

Kenya

We’ve offered coffee from Kenya for more than 40 years now, and it still amazes us. Big and juicy with complex layers of black currant, fresh blackberry and even tart grapefruit. It’s a refreshing, delicious cup like no other. Kenya has a sparkling crispness that makes it refreshing to drink – especially with ice on a hot summer day.

My husband and I are huge Starbucks fans and always enjoy trying new coffee. We recently ordered this blend for the first time and it has become our new favorite. Kenya is full of taste and very smooth with little to no after-bite.

This has been my favorite from day ONE of buying Starbuck's coffee. Nothing else can quite come close to the flavor.

I love the smoothest and the silky taste. However, My favorite is Kenya bold. Since its not available .I am thankful for the high quality of the lighter and smoother Kenya coffee. I recommend it to everyone I come in contact. Once you drink Kenya coffee its difficulty to a difference brain.

I absolutely loved the Burundi (sp?) when we could get it a few years back. Alas, no more? But then I found the Kenyan recently and I really love it!! Even my husband, who doesn't typically like the bolder coffees like I do, really likes it. Great way to start the day!!

I did like the Dark Roast of Starbucks Kenya. I do like the new Medium Roast Starbucks Kenya more.
I do love dark roast coffee. I was roasting my own Kenya beans last fall, trying to match Starbucks Kenya flavor with dark roasts.
I find the medium roast Starbucks Kenya is smoother than the dark roast.
I find me wanting to make more Kenya during the afternoon to evening hours. I like Starbucks Sumatra in the morning, and Kenya the rest of the day. Kenya is great with meals.
Yes, I recommend this product.
