  1. Place the ceramic cone on your mug.
  2. For best results, insert a Melitta® #2 filter and scoop in 20 g/4 Tbsp ground coffee.
  3. Pour in 295ml/10 fl oz hot water (90°C to 96°C/195°F to 205°F is the ideal temperature).
  4. Enjoy freshly brewed coffee by the cup.

Simple, straightforward filter that works well. Let's be honest, it's just a cone filter. It's kind of hard to mess up a cone filter, right? Well, you'd be surprised. That's why I like this filter. It works and it works well. I also liked that it is unbleached paper which is typically more environmentally friendly than bleached paper. If you follow the directions there should be no surprises when using these filters. And, at the end of the day, isn't that what we want from a coffee filter? Just make sure this is the right sized filter for your needs. I use these filters in conjunction with my Starbucks pour over brewer and the fit is perfect. If you are using the filter in your counter top coffee brewer then you will likely need a larger size. After all, you gotta have the right tools for the job. March 29, 2013

Skip This This filter breaks very often when I remove it from the pour over brewer, often ruining my cup of coffee below it. Waiting for the pack of 100 to run out so I can buy a better brand. October 30, 2012
